White tatting tablecloth “Maestro”, unique anniversary gift, family heirloom, 13 wedding Anniversary gift.
The 13th anniversary of the wedding is traditionally called a lace wedding. So best gift for 13 years together – handmade tatting lace tablecloth. Each knot in my work symbolizes your happy moments together. This white round tablecloth can become your family heirloom. Also lace is the embodiment of love, tenderness and care.
The size of the tablecloth – about 59 inches in diameter (150 cm).
This tablecloth I created in memory of a talented master of tatting Jan Stavash. Therefore, the cloth is called “Maestro”. I took a photo of his tatting as a basis, adapted and refined for Cro-tatting.
Tatting (Frivolite) – a French name special type of lace woven by hand using a small shuttle or a special needle. Automating the process of weaving lace tatting does not exist, so it’s only handmade individual work of the master. Buying lace tatting, you have a 100% guarantee handmade work.
Cro-tatting combines needle tatting with crochet. Many people consider cro-tatting more difficult than crochet or needle tatting. Cro-tatting is most popular in Japan.
I made this tablecloth in the technique of cro-tatting with a special hook Takashimabari. This connection has helped create a very airy, light and durable lace. This tablecloth has more than 80 000 knots and 5 000 stitches! I put my love into every knot!
