I am sure you will be interested to know the history of the name of this model. So, as often happens, I turned to the tatting masters from the FB groups for help. There were many of the most beautiful and original titles. But most of all I liked the name LIRE. Take a look please. After all, the multi-colored elements of the second row are very similar to this musical instrument. Is not it?

I used # 10 mercerized cotton thread none colors . In this case, the size small square is approximately 13x 13 inches ( 34 x 34 cm ). But you can use threads of the same color. Then you will get a monochrome version of the doily.

Level – middle. Therefore you must be able to Chain, Ring  and Split Ring.
