Christmas tree skirt Twelve Months
This quilted Christmas tree skirt wait who loves creativity and unusual use of simple things. Because I made this Christmas decor out of men’s silk ties. This stunning quilted 12 point star will add the finishing touch to your Christmas tree. So I named the skirt Twelve Months. By the way, in the third photo you see labels from these ties 🙂
The skirt is designed to go around the tree trunk and hide the base/wires/lights. It also makes a fantastic place to put presents under the tree, all ready for Christmas morning.
I picked up ties in red and blue color shades. But to complete the composition, I added a soft lilac nylon cord. The lining is made of cotton red fabric with a floral pattern. Also to create volume , I used a high-quality synthetic winterizer between the layers of fabric.
The skirt is split lengthwise between two panels so you can easily place it around the base of the tree. Both sides of the cut are connected with a Velcro strip. So the junction is not noticeable at all.
34 inches in diameter
