I created this beige doily using the old tatting technique from thin mercerized cotton threads. By the way, did you know items in the old technique are gaining extraordinary popularity lately. Therefore this doily can be an incredibly fashionable accent in your interior. In addition, this product of mine has a very interesting history. Materials and tools

Mercerized cotton  threads beige , scissors, tatting shuttles. And besides, my fantasy and love are in every knot. 🙂

Method

Tatting (Frivolite) – a French name special type of lace woven by hand using a small shuttle or a special needle. Automating the process of weaving lace tatting does not exist, so it’s only handmade individual work of the master. Therefore, buying lace tatting, you have a 100% guarantee handmade work.
