Coaster Fouette Tatting Pattern
My friends on social networks helped me name this pattern, thank you so much! From the many options, I chose the one I really liked – Fouette. This name sounds very romantic and symbolizes rapid movement and a whirlwind. And besides, it seems to me that this coaster resembles a light and weightless ballerina’s tutu. So, long live ballet!
This pattern is for tatting with two shuttles. But you can also make this pattern with two needles.
I used white cotton mercerized threads #10. In this case, the finished product will be about 5 inches (12.5 cm) in diameter.

Level: difficult. You should be able to make a Ring, Chain, long twisted picots, Catherine Wheell Join, floating ring. You can make a transition between the first and second rows without cutting the thread (as it says in the instructions). For this you need to use a false picot.
