These hooks are designed for making tatting lace using a special method – cro-tatting. The special design of the hook head allows you to easily pull the thread through the double stitches. Also with these hooks, you can easily make Split Rings.

Before use, please read the instructions:
1. Use well-twisted threads of the appropriate thickness for each hook.
For a 1.5 mm hook – thread No. 10,
for a 1.2 mm hook – thread No. 20,
for a 1.0 hook – thread No. 50.
2. Do not tighten the double stitches on the hook too much.
3. When forming the Ring, pay attention to the position of the hook head.
4. Store in a special container, away from children and animals. You will receive this plastic container as a gift upon delivery.

The length of the hooks is 15 cm (6 inches). Thickness is 1.5 mm, 1.2 mm and 1.0 mm.
Method
Cro-tatting combines needle tatting with crochet. In its most basic form, the rings are tatted with a length of plain thread between them, as in single-shuttle tatting. In modern patterns, beginning in the early 20th century, the rings are tatted and the arches or chains are crocheted. Many people consider cro-tatting more difficult than crochet or needle tatting. Stitches of cro-tatting unravel easily, unlike tatting made with a shuttle.
