✨This is a tatting pattern for Deana earrings, designed for shuttle tatting, although it can be easily adapted for needle tatting as well. 🧷

The downloadable PDF file includes:

💖 This tutorial is ideal for intermediate tatters, especially for those who dislike sewing beads on afterward. In this pattern, all beads are incorporated during the tatting process, which saves time and creates a cleaner finish. ✨

The pattern requires you to know how to tat rings, chains, and picots with beads. Therefore, some experience in tatting is helpful.

I created this design in honor of my dear internet friend Deana. 💕 This pattern continues my “Thank You” collection — a tribute to the loyal customers and tatting friends who support me with their kindness and inspiration. 🤝

Deana has been tatting for many years, and she’s truly a master of the craft. You could say she’s a shining star in the world of lace makers! ✨

Hence, these earrings are shaped like stars. But interestingly, they also resemble snowflakes — a perfect design for winter holidays and festive gifts. 🎄❄️

By the way, Deana’s birthday is at the end of autumn, just before the winter and Christmas season. That makes these earrings even more symbolic!

🧵 Materials and Size

For this pattern, I used:

• Red polyester threads #50,

• Czech calibrated seed beads (1 mm),

• and glass rondelles (3×4 mm). 💎

When made with these materials, the finished earrings are about 5.5 cm (2.25 inches) in diameter.

However, you can feel free to experiment with your favorite colors and beads — contrast combinations work beautifully!
