I used # 40 mercerized cotton thread. In this case, the size of the finished doily is about 5 inches (13 cm) around .

This pattern can be used for any tatting technique: tatting with a shuttle, tatting with a needle and even a netting needle. You will be surprised how easy it is to weave this doily following the instructions. Besides detailed video will help you with this.

I wrote instructions for two difficulty levels: easy and medium. Easy level – with thread cutting at the end of each row. You must be able ring, chain, long picot. Medium level is without cutting the thread between the first three rows. You must be able ring, chain, long picot and split chain.
