Our family fireplace parties, or my granddaughter’s amazing tatting ideas.

Hello, everyone! Oh, what a pity that the Holidays end so quickly! Our children and grandchildren are returning to their homes. But we look forward to their new visits and fondly remember our family “Fireplace Parties”. Look how fun the fire is blazing in the fireplace! You can look at the flames for an infinitely long time. Do you agree?

My granddaughter loves these evenings the most. And sometimes I wonder what ideas come to her mind! Once, looking at the Christmas tree outside the window (yes, spruces grow near our house!), My Maria said: “Grandma, can you make a wreath for the Christmas tree? But I want it to look like my braided pigtails!” “Ah, nothing is impossible!” Grandma replied.

The next time the fire in the fireplace inspired my Angel. She wanted to get a bracelet that looked like a flame. I tried hard! Do you think it looks like fire?

Outgoing year results, or how to fulfill your creative plans.

Hello, everyone! First, I want to congratulate all of you with the upcoming new year 2022! And with all my heart I wish you health, prosperity, success, peace and love! As well as new creative plans and their implementation.

By the way, a little about the plans. At the beginning of the year, I set myself a difficult task – to create 70 patterns, tutorials or master classes. Yes! I did it, hurray! 2 hours before the new year, I finished and posted the 70th pattern in my store! Of course, among my works there were patterns of varying complexity. For example, I created some works in 4-5 days, “in one breath”, I hope you understand me! And some required many changes and alterations. This makes me sad, but I always try to keep the pattern concise and “perfect”.

For design development, I need to get answers from you to these questions:
1. Who will this quilt for?
2. What is the theme of your story (nature, travel, sea, glamor, animals, flora or fauna, etc.)?
3. What colors do you want (you can choose several colors in photo 2)?
4. Do you want to embroider a figures(photo), or a geometric pattern (photo)?
5. What size quilt do you want?
6. Will the quilt be used on the bed, or on the wall?
7. Which do you want the reverse side of the quilt (single-color or drawing)? This side I make of quality cotton fabric.

Making a quilt:

I develop the design of your quilt within three days from the moment you answer the questions and I send you the JPG – file in the e-mail. Also I tell you the cost of the quilt and the time of production (this depends on the size of the quilt and the complexity of the work – from $ 500 to $ 1,500).

If you approve the design and are ready to order a quilt, I draw up a personal order for you and you pay an advance payment of 50% of the order value. I will keep you posted on the processing, and I will sending for you a photo of the process.

When the quilt is ready, I will add a second personalized listing for you in my shop and let you know. You will pay the remaining amount (50%) and I will send your personalized embroidered quilt within three days of the last payment.

Why do you need acute corner in lace? Oh, I can talk for hours about new methods, new shapes, new tools! Yes, I love to learn new things. And you? Classic tatting patterns of rings and arcs are beautiful (almost always). I agree, of course. But sometimes there is a need for stylization. For example, if I am making a heart pattern, I cannot do without a sharp corner. Otherwise, the pattern will not be perfect.

I have created a collection of hearts. And in my opinion, these hearts look pretty cute 🙂

Difficult week

Difficult week, or when you need help from friends.

Hello everyone! Oh, really, I went through a rather difficult week. I have not visited social networks. Also I haven’t written anything on the blog. I couldn’t even make a new pattern. I was very busy, excited and upset. My husband had a complicated heart surgery two years ago. He was examined last week. Alas, things are not very good. Of course, we will fulfill all the doctor’s orders. I hope in the Lord and in you, my dear friends! We need your prayers.

In this difficult time tatting is my salvation. This is my meditation and relaxation. Now I calmed down a bit and was able to finish the pattern with my new square doily. Do you remember my collection Summer mood? This is my collection of long picot patterns.
